The Study Abroad Program provides detailed information on hundreds of universities world wide, interesting study opportunities, background information of your country of destination and travel information. Information is available through brochures, magazines, VDO's and CD-ROMs as well as on-line.

The Study Abroad Program accepts individual request from students to search for specific study opportunities. Information Search enables students to find exactly the right information and provides the students with a range of International Study Programs.

Individual counseling
Study Abroad Program counselors are available to help you to develop your Personal Study Abroad Program that fits best with your needs and interest. They will not only help you to develop your study program, but assist you step-by-step through the entire process of studying abroad

Technical Support
The Office of International Affairs will help you with all your technical needs including visa and travel arrangements, airport pick ups, orientation programs, accommodation, insurance etc.

Buddy System
Under the Buddy System, every student will have his or her own buddy, assigned long before leaving the country. With you buddy, you can start talking with a fellow student in the country of destination and to exchange all the information you require. Your Buddy will also help you in settling in your new environment.

Credit Transfer
The Office of International Affairs can assist you with the transfer of your credits back to your home institute. Being part of the University Mobility Asia Pacific (UMAP) Program, transfer will be easy and quick. Contact the office for more information

Financial Support
Although the Study Abroad Program does not provide individual financial support, it has information on a various (partial) scholarships available. Especially for Thai students, planning to study overseas, the Study Abroad Program offers you a Savings Plan that enables you to save money during your study in Thailand so you will have the funds you need to travel abroad whenever you are ready.

Study Abroad Preparation Course
It's very important to be ready to travel abroad. This includes knowledge about the people, culture and the country and sufficient language skills to communicate with friends and in class. The Study Abroad Program offers you SAO 001, a one-term program designed for anyone who intends to live abroad.
