Philosophy

     Ed. D. Program in Educational Studies aims at developing graduates into high-quality professional educators who can lead and innovate in educational practices and research. As visionary educational leaders, they can contribute to development of the country in the areas of the Education Reform, and particularly cope with changes in dimensions of society, politics, educational technology and internationalization.


Objectives


     Ed. D. Program in Educational Studies aims at producing graduates with the following characteristics:

     (1) Knowledgeable in educational theories and applications, research in education, leadership in organizational management, planning and adjustment for change.

     (2) Skilled in innovating and developing an in-depth body of knowledge and knowledge management , as well as using research and educational technology as tools for educational practices and professional contributions to the Education Reform of the country.

     (3) Visionary as educational leaders with determination in educational development that integrates Thainess into conflict management, tolerance for differences in viewpoints and ethical resolutions.

     (4) Competent and strategic in interpolating educational innovations, educational technology, and professional standards for well-being of the Thai educational context.
