International Relations and Development
School of Diplomacy and International Studies BA in International Relations and Development (IRD) focuses on international political and economic developments in Asia, in addition to international relations subjects in general.
In coordination with the Institute of Political Science and the Institute of Economics, IRD students now also have the opportunity to earn a second degree in either Political Science or Economics within one additional academic year. However, please be aware that IRD is taught in English, whereas Political Science and Economics are taught in Thai.

QUALIFICATION
• Completed Upper Secondary School (M.6 Certificate) or its equivalent as recognized by the Thai Ministry of Education or;
• Completed High School Grade 12 (US System) or;
• Passed 3 subjects of Cambridge AS and A Level with a Grade C or above (British System) or;
• Completed International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
• Completed High School Grade 12 (US System) or;
• Passed 3 subjects of Cambridge AS and A Level with a Grade C or above (British System) or;
• Completed International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
English Language Requirement
• English is the applicant’s first language or;
• A score of B2 level in the CEFR framework; or
• An IELTS (Academic) overall score of 5.5 or;
• TOEFL score of at least 500 in Paper-Based Test; 173 in Computer-Based Test; 60 in Internet-Based Test or;
• CU-TEP Test equivalent score of 70 or other approved equivalents or;
• Pass the Rangsit University International College (RIC) Placement Test
*An applicant who does not meet the English language requirement will take the RIC English Foundation Programme before they can start the degree program.
